Wat is multichannel customer service?

Multichannel customer services is a customer service philosophy that has the customer as the focal point and the customer can choose which channel he or she uses to contact the organization. This goes beyond just offering a range of channels as the customer experience has to offer the desired level on every channel. This also means that conversations that started via a certain channel, e.g. WhatsApp, can be continued via other channels, such as by email, by phone, or via Facebook Messenger.
